The NC Public Health Preparedness and Response Symposium brings together ~200 leaders, experts, and stakeholders across a variety of sectors to explore the dynamic connections between public health and preparedness and response. With national, state, and local level presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to analyze strategies, review recent challenges and lessons learned, and explore creative approaches to fostering and maintaining resilient communities, effective partnerships, and optimal resource utilization for responding to real world emergencies and events. Representatives from all of North Carolina’s 86 Local Health Jurisdictions (LHDs) will be in attendance, along with many of their response partners who assist in collaboratively focusing on preparedness and response efforts through a public health lens.
